Veterans Salvation Prayer

 Lord Jesus,

You are my Warrior King, my Shepherd, and my Commander.

You formed me with a warrior spirit — not to destroy, but to protect.
You made me a sheepdog — one who stands between evil and the innocent.

Today I surrender fully to You.
I repent of my sin.
I believe You died for me and rose again — and I confess You as my Lord and Savior.

My identity is no longer in deployments, rank, ribbons, or what I once carried.
My identity is in Christ.
I am not what I achieved — I am who You redeemed.

Give me purpose again.
Give me a calling aligned with Your heart.

Give me a community that accepts me and shows me grace.
Heal my mind, my soul, and my spirit where life and war wounded me.

Teach me meekness — because meekness is not weakness.
Meekness is power under Your control.

I lay down every burden, every shame, every unfinished battle at Your feet.

Lead me.
Use me.

Send me again — healed, restored, and commissioned as a son of God on Kingdom purpose.

In Jesus name. Amen.

Prayer For Veterans

Lord Jesus,

You are their Warrior King, their Shepherd, their Commander.

You formed these Veterans with warrior spirits — not to destroy, but to protect.
You crafted them as sheepdogs — those who stand between evil and the innocent.
You trained their hands for battle and You formed their hearts for sacrifice.

And now — Lord — teach them again who they are.
Their identity is not in deployments, rank, ribbons, or what they once carried.
Their identity is in Christ.
They belong to You.
They are not what they achieved… they are who You redeemed.

Give them renewed purpose in this new season.
Give them a mission that aligns deeply with Your heart.
Heal their minds where they were torn.
Heal their souls where they were bruised.
Heal their spirits where they were hardened to simply survive.

Teach them meekness — because meekness is not weakness.
Meekness is strength submitted to the King.
Meekness is the warrior choosing restraint and peace because they now fight with Heaven’s weapons — truth, mercy, grace, faith, love, forgiveness.

Lord — today — they lay down every burden, every memory, every shame, every unfinished battle on Your altar.

Trade their scars for identity.
Trade their wounds for purpose.
Trade their trauma for calling.

Trade their hyper vigilance for discernment.

Lead them.
Use them.
Send them again — as warriors healed, sheepdogs restored —
and sons and daughters of God walking in Kingdom purpose.

In Jesus name. Amen.
